Trip Report:

Finding your way up the long ridge to Junction Mountain summit is straightforward using Nugara’s route description from More Scramble in the Canadian Rockies. The ridge to Pyriform Mountain from Junction was shorter than it looked and the scrambling was very similar to the final sections of Junction. The way is straight forward, there are a few cliff bands to be bypassed but as with any ridge the easiest going is to stay on top. The best descent off Pyriform is to the North West where you will find a surprisingly well defined (and rutted) horse trail that takes you directly back to the parking lot (click here to view map).
